About Me

I've always been the kind of person who needs to understand how things work. As a kid, I'd take things apart just to see what was inside. That curiosity stuck with me. I like figuring out systems, understanding why people do what they do, and paying attention to what makes moments feel meaningful.

I grew up drawn to a mix of tech, art, and design, not because I had some grand plan, but because my brain gets restless when it's not building or imagining something. I'm into speculative fiction, especially the kind where technology meets messy, human reality. Cyberpunk, sci-fi, anything that explores "what if?" and I'm happy for hours.

I'm also someone who overthinks everything, the "did I leave the stove on?" kind of overthinking. But that same tendency helps me notice details other people might miss.

Which comes in handy with the things I love doing: photography, cooking, tinkering with hardware, writing code, designing interfaces just for fun, exploring new places, or people-watching at cafés.

Beyond that, I'm pretty straightforward. I'm happiest when I'm making something that didn't exist the day before, whether it's a good meal or a small project. I like long walks, quiet spaces, good stories, and conversations that go past small talk. And yes, I will absolutely pause a movie to talk about how they designed a fictional interface.

I build things, I overthink things, I imagine things, and I care about the small details, sometimes more than I probably should.

Photography?

Asbury Park Beach, NJ (July, 2025)

I've been getting into photography with my FujiFilm X-M5 as well as my iPhone, and honestly, I'm still figuring a lot of it out. I'm not a professional by any means, but there's something about walking around with a camera that makes me see things differently. I love the film simulations, the way they give photos a certain mood without needing to mess around too much in editing.
